JUNIOR PRODUCTION PLANNER
The Junior Production Planner will assist in organizing production according to demand and quality standards; ensuring the smooth and cost-efficient flow of our production operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide / Communicate production data (fit, weld, QC, paint, and shipping)
- Report status of spools and backlog
- Provide facility production and trends weekly to shop management
- Drive weekly production meeting and weekly aged spool meeting
- Update welder utilization and tracking sheet
- Update project curves
- Maintain project progress reporting
- Analyze weekly production actuals for trends
- Ensure project priorities are being planned and tracked
- Ensure field required dates are accurate and properly used in planning
- Identify spools at risk for not achieving field required dates
- Assist shop foreman with developing and tracking production execution plan
- Review engineering and material forecast for issues that could impact production
- Review backlog monthly with shop management
- Run spool backlog by bay report and review with shop management
- Tracking priorities for projects
- Project hold and effect on production
- Maintain updated Field required dates
- Assist Shop Foreman with Production Execution plan
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field or relevant work experience
- Excellent in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of production and operations
- Knowledge of utilizing metrics
- Typically has 0-2 years’ relevant experience
