Dan T. Simpson serves as Chief Executive Officer for The Shaw Group.

 Dan is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a degree in construction science. Over his 30-plus-year career, he has held various executive positions, including Global Vice President of Turbo-Machinery for Siemens Energy, Executive Vice President of Global Operations, and Executive Vice President of Global Solutions at Dresser-Rand, a Siemens business. Before Siemens acquired Dresser-Rand, he served as General Manager for Brazil, Global Director of Infrastructure, and managed the Government Business Unit and all large global complex projects.

Prior to joining Dresser-Rand in 2010, Dan spent eleven years at Honeywell International (HPS), where, from 2004 to 2009, he was Director of Operations & Services in the Asia Pacific region, based in Beijing. In this role, he oversaw all Asia Pacific projects and service delivery, including supply chain management and the development of manufacturing operations in Tianjin, China, and local integration centers in Singapore and Korea. He also established a Global Engineering Center in Chongqing, China, where he served as Chairman of Honeywell China Advanced Solutions Ltd. Before his tenure at Honeywell, Dan spent eight years in the downstream oil and gas engineering and construction industry with Kellogg Brown & Root, a subsidiary of Halliburton.
