Ready-to-Deploy Solutions. Backed by Shaw Expertise.

The Shaw Group offers modular product solutions that combine pre-engineered designs, prefabrication, system integration, and factory testing to simplify project execution and accelerate deployment. Built on Shaw’s engineering expertise and fabrication capabilities, these solutions help reduce field complexity while improving schedule and execution predictability.

Shaw’s modular products are designed around standardized, repeatable architectures that can be configured to address project-specific operational, regulatory, and site requirements. This approach provides the benefits of standardization while maintaining the flexibility needed for a wide range of applications and operating environments.

Whether deployed as part of a larger infrastructure development or as a standalone system, Shaw’s modular solutions provide a practical path from design through fabrication, integration, testing, installation, and commissioning.

Modular Product Solutions

Gen Set Module

Shaw’s Genset Module provides a compact, integrated power generation solution designed for pilot installations, space-constrained sites, and rapid initial capacity deployment.

The module can integrate the genset, alternator, radiator, exhaust and silencing systems, controls, HMI, and optional emissions-control equipment such as SCR within a coordinated package. The design supports repeatable deployment across AI data centers, utilities and IPPs, and industrial and commercial applications.

Factory integration and acceptance testing shift significant assembly and verification activities away from the project site, reducing field complexity and creating a more defined installation and commissioning process.

Modular Data Centers
(Edge and Compute)

Shaw’s Modular Data Center Module provides a pre-integrated platform for deploying compute capacity where and when it’s needed. The modular architecture supports rapid capacity additions while reducing the amount of integration work required at the project site.

Each module can bring together GPU and compute racks, rack-level power distribution, liquid cooling, fire safety systems, and data center infrastructure management (DCIM) within a coordinated environment.

The platform supports applications including AI inference, edge computing, enterprise capacity expansion, telecom and network nodes, temporary compute requirements, pilot installations, and space-constrained deployments. Factory integration and testing allow much of the system-level verification to occur before shipment, simplifying final installation and commissioning.

E-Houses

Shaw’s E-House provides a factory-integrated approach to utility service entrance, primary power distribution, and site energization, consolidating critical electrical infrastructure within a modular enclosure.

Each E-House can integrate medium-voltage switchgear, protection relays, metering, breakers, grounding, auxiliary power systems, and associated electrical equipment before delivery to the project site.

The modular architecture supports repeatable utility interconnection and site power distribution configurations across AI data centers, utilities and IPPs, industrial campuses, and commercial facilities. Factory integration and acceptance testing reduce field assembly and verification requirements, allowing site activities to focus on final connections, inspection, energization, and commissioning.

Control and Automation E-Houses

Shaw’s Control and Automation E-House provides a centralized platform for monitoring, controlling, and coordinating power, cooling, and supporting infrastructure across modular sites.

The E-House can integrate SCADA, data center infrastructure management (DCIM), power management systems (PMS), PLCs, networking, protection relays, cybersecurity systems, controls, and operator HMIs within a pre-engineered environment.

This architecture provides centralized visibility and coordinated operation across interconnected systems and is suited for AI data centers, microgrids, utilities and IPPs, and industrial facilities. Factory integration and functional testing help validate system interfaces before delivery, reducing field integration requirements and supporting a more efficient commissioning process.

BESS Module

Shaw’s BESS Module provides a scalable, modular approach to energy storage for applications requiring flexible capacity, backup power, peak shaving, and grid support.

The modular architecture can integrate battery racks, bidirectional power conversion systems (PCS), controls, HVAC, and fire protection systems within a coordinated energy storage solution.

Designed for repeatable deployment across AI data centers, utilities and IPPs, microgrids, and industrial and commercial applications, the BESS Module shifts significant system integration and testing activities into the factory. This approach reduces field complexity and creates a more predictable path through installation and commissioning.

Data Center Cooling Module

Shaw’s Data Center Cooling Module provides a scalable cooling platform for high-density environments, supporting pilot installations, phased capacity additions, and projects with limited available space.

The module can integrate pumps, heat exchangers, filtration, controls, and instrumentation with CDU or chilled-water interfaces to create a coordinated thermal management system.

The design supports the cooling requirements of high-density AI data centers, industrial processes, BESS facilities, and other mission-critical applications. Factory assembly and testing reduce on-site integration requirements, allowing field activities to focus on piping and electrical connections, system verification, and commissioning.

800V DC Distribution Module

Shaw’s 800 V DC Distribution Module provides a dedicated DC distribution platform for high-density computing loads and creates a modular path for expanding capacity as site requirements grow.

The module can integrate DC switchgear, busbars, protection and isolation equipment, monitoring systems, disconnects, and output feeders within a coordinated distribution architecture.

Designed for AI data centers, GPU-intensive computing environments, advanced industrial systems, and facilities adopting 800 VDC power architectures, the module provides a repeatable approach to DC power distribution. Factory integration and acceptance testing help reduce field assembly requirements and establish a more defined sequence for installation, energization, and commissioning.

SST Power Conversion Module

The Shaw SST Power Conversion Module provides an integrated AC-to-DC conversion platform connecting medium-voltage power sources with 800 VDC distribution infrastructure.

The module can incorporate solid-state transformer technology, active-front-end conversion, galvanic isolation, protection, controls, and liquid cooling within a coordinated power conversion system.

Designed for AI data centers, advanced microgrids, and industrial applications, the module supports power architectures where efficient conversion, reduced equipment footprint, and flexible integration between medium-voltage and DC infrastructure are key considerations.

Factory integration and acceptance testing shift significant system verification away from the project site, allowing field activities to focus on connecting the medium-voltage input and DC output interfaces, inspection, energization, and commissioning.

Data Center Infrastructure

Reliable power, cooling, controls, and supporting infrastructure are fundamental to the performance and continuity of mission-critical data center operations.

Shaw’s modular data center infrastructure solutions bring these systems together through factory-built, integrated platforms designed to reduce field complexity and support faster, more predictable deployment. The modular approach can support new developments, phased capacity additions, pilot installations, and expansion of existing facilities while maintaining flexibility for project-specific requirements.

By combining engineering, fabrication, integration, factory testing, and deployment capabilities, Shaw provides infrastructure solutions designed to help clients move efficiently from project concept to operating capacity.
