HOUSTON, TEXAS, July 1, 2025 – The Shaw Group, one of the world’s largest engineering, procurement, and fabrication (EPF) companies, is proud to announce the opening of its new premises in Pune, Maharashtra, India, marking a significant milestone in its global expansion strategy.   

As previously announced on April 21, 2025, The Shaw Group signed a definitive agreement to acquire a majority stake in Prodigent Solutions Private Limited, an engineering and functional services provider based in Pune. In line with its global growth plan, The Shaw Group has completed this acquisition and established a new joint venture legal entity operating under The Shaw Group name in India.   

The new office officially opened on June 17, 2025. The inauguration began with a traditional pooja ceremony, reflecting the company’s respect for local customs and its intention to foster a vibrant, collaborative, and culturally inclusive workspace. The event also featured a ceremonial lamp lighting and ribbon cutting, with employees adding a festive touch by donning traditional attire.   

In attendance were Shaw CEO Dan Simpson, Shaw CFO Ben Zils, Shaw COO MENA Paul Head, Shaw Director of Engineering Ricardo Velez, and JV CEO Yayati Garde, along with the Shaw Team in Pune.
