Chris Cravey, General Counsel
Chris Cravey serves as General Counsel for The Shaw Group and oversees the company’s legal, commercial, and compliance functions. He most recently served as Vice President of Commercial and Legal for Shaw and previously was a partner at Jackson Walker LLP.
Chris has nearly 30 years of legal and business experience. He earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Houston Law Center, an MBA from the University of Houston, and a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Texas A&M University.
Prior to joining Shaw, Chris represented and advised businesses ranging from start-ups to Fortune 100 companies across a broad range of legal matters. He has extensive experience in complex intellectual property disputes, with particular expertise in patent litigation. Chris served as first-chair trial counsel in high-stakes patent cases, representing clients through jury verdict and on appeal, including proceedings before the United States Supreme Court. He also served as Special Master in numerous patent cases before the Honorable Alan D. Albright in the Western District of Texas.
