Matt serves as the Chief Commercial Officer of The Shaw Group and brings nearly 20 years leadership and technical expertise to the team. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering as well as a Juris Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma.

Matt has 20 years of experience managing legal, commercial, and operational strategies for a variety of organizations. Prior to joining Shaw, he served as Chief Commercial Officer for Chemex Global, a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Shaw Group. During his time with Chemex, he was instrumental in the success and growth of the organization. He was the chief architect behind many of the company’s notable projects and business structures internationally as well as within the United States market. Matt’s expertise combines a unique understanding of the technical, commercial, and legal process that leads to project success. Prior to joining Chemex, Matt was a litigator for 13 years focused primarily on high-profile patent infringement cases.
